Faith Lutheran High School of Central Texas was born out of a few “interest meetings” held at Immanuel Lutheran School, Giddings, in the spring of 2014. A group of dedicated parents continued meeting as the steering committee, learning more from other Lutheran high schools around the country, and dreaming about providing Lutheran secondary education in central Texas. In September 2015, the group adopted by-laws and selected a Board of Directors. The Board made presentations to area Lutheran churches and has begun to form an association of churches who work together to support FLHS. A timeline was adopted and a start date set. Fundraising began in fall of 2015 (with over $120,000 raised in less than a year!). In March of 2016, our first Delegate Assembly was held, made up of representatives from our association churches. Administration and faculty were called and FLHS began its first academic school year on August 22, 2017!
